Altered Collection:
I wanted to create a collection that captured the moments in the Bible that truly altered the world. I found myself connecting moments with color and Altered was born. - Nichole Kirk, Founder

Designs:

He Calms the Storm-Our lives can often feel as though they are spinning out of control, and we are left grasping at whatever we can, with fear and anxiety filling our hearts. That is exactly what was happening to the disciples on the boat with Jesus as waves were crashing around them, and Jesus was sleeping peacefully through it all. They awoke him, frightened, and Jesus stood up and told the wind and waves, “Peace, be still!” and they became still. He then asked, “why are you so afraid, have you still no faith?” When life feels out of control, know that your God is in control of it all, even if you don’t see the full picture yet. Be still and let His peace fill your heart.

Peter Walks on Water-God calls us to do bold, uncomfortable things. He doesn’t call us to a safe, comfortable life. He calls us to step forward in faith to show others what only He can do. Can you imagine being Peter when Jesus asked him to walk on the water to Him? It defied all sense, but Peter followed Jesus’ voice anyway. He took a few solid steps, but stumbled as fear and doubt began to creep in. Jesus showed Peter His grace by steadying him back to the boat. Jesus will always catch us if we fall- so do the scary thing. Run fast in faith. Step out of the boat, and He will carry you.

David's Stone-We will face many giants in our lives, but not one will be bigger than our God. Fear likes to creep in and tell us that we are weak, alone, and will never prevail- but fear is a liar. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be David, stone in hand, facing a giant like Goliath? Yet, he never wavered because he had full faith that God was going to fight for him. It didn’t matter that he was just a shepherd boy going to battle against a fully armored, experienced warrior. He believed that his God was with him and would defeat this giant. So when you find yourself up against giants of your own, remember David and his faith that was as solid as his stone. You have victory in God’s power working through you.

Mary's Call-Sometimes God asks us to do big things that we may not feel ready to do. We may feel we are too tired, too sad, too unprepared. Mary had been distraught and weeping after discovering Jesus’ body was gone from the tomb, thinking someone had taken him. Soon, two angels in white appeared to her followed by Jesus himself, and he asks her to do a big thing... to go and tell the others that He had RISEN. She didn’t hesitate. She didn’t go take a rest from an emotional roller coaster. No, she got up and immediately ran after what Jesus had called her to do. Go and tell the good news, sister. Don’t wait a second longer.
